Nordic Brand Manager Certina at Swatch Group

The Swatch Group (Nordic) AB is an affiliate to The Swatch Group Ltd - the world's largest manufacturer of watches as well as timekeeping equipment and other microelectronics. Well-known brands that are marketed in the Nordics are for e.g., Omega, Rado, Longines, Tissot, Certina, Swatch and Flik Flak. Central functions such as spare parts warehouse, administration, finance, IT and HR are centralized to Stockholm, while sales and service are decentralized to the respective sales offices which are located in Oslo, Copenhagen, and Helsinki. Today The Swatch Group (Nordic) have approximately 105 employees and the group 32 000 globally.

As Brand Manager you will have Nordic responsibility for the Certina brand, which specializes in premium watches and are known for their precision, reliability and sporty appearance. Your purpose is to oversee Certina’s presence in all Nordic countries when it comes to sales, marketing, customer service and representation of brand (physical channels and e-commerce) as well as providing day-to-day leadership for the staff working with the brand. In the role you will have personnel responsibility for a team of 9 members, working in different locations across the Nordic countries. You will also collaborate and coordinate activities with the other Nordic counterparts to assure alignment in brand strategy and execution. As Brand Manager you frequently travel to visit Nordic locations, retailers or the Certina headquarters in Switzerland.

As Nordic Brand Manager you can either be stationed at the Swatch Group (Nordic) office in Stockholm or Oslo.

• With support from KPI’s, analyze the sales in the Nordics and develop a strategy together with the brand HQ
• Be a brand representative at marketing events and visits to stores and retailers
• Lead an international marketing and sales team of 9 people

• A post-secondary education in sales, marketing or equivalent. Alternatively the same knowledge in experience
• Previous experience from working within sales (B2B), preferably from a position as Brand Manager or equivalent
• Solid market knowledge and experience from the watch, jewelry or high-end fashion industry
• Fluent communicative skills in Swedish and/or Norwegian
• Professional level in English

It will be very meritorious if you also have:

• Great leadership skills and previous experience from having personnel responsibility.
• Nordic work experience
