About the role

The electrification of cars, trucks and buses is one of the most extensive and disruptive industry transformations ever. Today they have Europe's largest battery factory located here in Sweden.

We are now seeking for a talented CNC Programmer/Machinist to our client. In the role you will support the engineering teams with prototype components for product or equipment development within the Battery Systems team. You will be part of a fast-paced team that always ensures high quality and rapid prototyping capabilities. By this they enable a short-looped product and process development cycle and cut the time to market significantly. The team includes specialists in everything from equipment building, to maintenance, prototype and fabrication, enabling us to realize a quick response to changing needs.

Work tasks

  • Programming, setup and operation of 3-5-axis CNC milling machines and CNC lathes for one-off components
  • Build and modify process equipment for prototyping
  • Provide input on design for manufacturability with engineering teams

We are looking for

  • A technical post-secondary education
  • Experience of multi-axis programming
  • Experience in prototype environment or small series production
  • General machining knowledge (NC-Machines, drill press, lathes, welding)
  • Knowledge of CAD/CAM
  • Experience with reading complex drawings
  • Experience cutting a wide range of materials, including aluminium, plastics, copper, brass, all steels
  • Fluent in English
