For the tenth time, Scania is launching its popular I-Talent Program! The I-Talent Program at Scania is an inspiring six-month journey designed for newly graduated IT students with a passion for innovation and sustainability. You’ll gain hands-on experience in a specialized IT role, access to training, and the opportunity to collaborate with teams across IT, sales, marketing, and research and development (R&D). The program not only strengthens technical skills but also develops soft skills within a supportive network – all to prepare participants to contribute to Scania’s goal: driving the shift toward a sustainable transport system. This provides very good opportunities to build a good network within Scania and in addition to your I-talents colleagues and your closest manager, you will be assigned a buddy who will be there for you the first time. Work tasks
As a Front End Developer, you will work on a part of a product system that enables thousands of engineers within TRATON to find, share, and use product data in a smarter and more automated way. This may involve connecting product information from multiple systems, structuring the data, and enabling AI-driven analyses and tools to respond faster to complex questions, perform risk assessments, and optimize designs more efficiently. You will be part of a department of around 20 employees, divided into three teams, consisting of both senior and junior colleagues, including a former I-talent participant. You will, for example:
- Develop interfaces that support advanced user scenarios related to product data.
- Work with data binding and data processing within the interface.
- Handle business requirements and investigate what needs to be built to meet them.
- Build solutions that integrate information from multiple systems.

- A post-secondary education with focus on front-end development
- Strong knowledge in JavaScript, HTML, and CSS
- Strong knowledge in English, written and spoken alike
Other information
- Start: September 2026
- Extent: Full-time, fixed-term employment for 6 months with a good chance of continue your career at Scania after the program
- Location: Södertälje and with the possibility of remote work a few days a week
