About the role

In the legal domain area within Product Development IT, Scania develops applications to make it possible for Scania to fulfil legislation demands and sell their products globally. The legislations they support are Emissions, Chemical substances, Legal marking, Cyber Security and Export control. The challenge is to navigate through a dynamic legal environment, understand complex concepts, see opportunities, and formulate clear directions. With large and new areas like electrification and autonomous vehicles around our corner.

The Legal Team are a group of 10 members, including developers, software & solution architects. The team is a friendly group with diverse backgrounds and experiences, who likes to work in an open atmosphere. Together they work closely with the business and with different technologies to develop high quality software for product legislations. The Legal-IT team are flexible in their way of working, and offers the possibility to work both from the office and home, but meet regulary in the office to foster great team spirit!

Work tasks

  • Be part of software product development end-to-end: coding, testing, deployment, monitoring and support.
  • Deliver high-quality code – readable, testable and easily maintainable.
  • Develop complete software solutions from backend to frontend.
  • Continuously share your experience with the rest of the team and ensure the team reaches its full potential
  • Attend SCRUM meetings together with your team

We are looking for

We are looking for a skilled full stack developer with experience in designing software products based on cloud environment.

  • A few years of working experience as a software developer. In this time, it is great if you have some experience in both front- and backend
  • Experience in cloud technologies such as AWS, Azure or equivalent
  • Previous experience of working with python, C# and .NET
  • Previous experience of working with JavaScript and Angular framework
  • Professional level in English (written and spoken)

It is meritorious if you have

  • Experience of working in a DevOps enviroment with CI/CD and Git
  • Knowledge in Swedish
