Electude is now looking for a Business Development Manager to lead the expansion in the Swedish & Norwegian markets. Role

As the Business Development Manager, you will play a crucial role in spearheading Electude’s expansion efforts and realizing sustained market share growth. You will be responsible for building and managing relationships with clients, driving revenue growth, and establishing Electude as the go-to solution for automotive education in Sweden & Norway. In this role, you will operate independently while maintaining close contact with your manager based in the Netherlands as well as you colleague for Finland and Denmark based in Finland. This role stands out as a unique opportunity for professional growth aligned with the company's expansion.

Work tasks

Specifically, you will be responsible for:

  • Client Acquisition: Approaching and prospecting vocational schools in Sweden & Norway.
  • Account Management: Maintaining client retention by building long-standing relationships with teachers by understanding the unique needs of educators and educational institutions, and by effectively promoting Electude solutions.
  • Sales Strategy: Creating and implementing strategic sales plans to achieve and exceeding revenue targets.
  • Networking: Developing relationships with principals, educational and/or quality experts, IT managers, Heads of departments as well as representing the company at industry events, conferences, and trade shows to build a strong network and identify potential partnerships.
  • Proposal Development: Preparing and presenting compelling proposals to clients, showcasing the value of Electude in addressing their specific needs

We are looking for

Who you are:

Thriving in this role requires a fervor for sales and relationship-building. Ideally, you'll have a track record of building relationships with clients, and you understand the needs and expectations of educational institutions.

Qualifications and Characteristics:

  • Proven experience in B2B sales preferably from the education or e-learning sector alternatively from SaaS.
  • Self-motivated with a proactive and positive attitude.
  • Understanding of the challenges and dynamics of the educational industry.
  • Results-driven with a track record of meeting and exceeding sales goals.
  • Willingness to travel – regularly in Sweden & Norway, occasionally to headquarters in The Netherlands but apt in virtual meetings, to limit travel to the necessary.
  • Fluent in English, Swedish and Norwegian.

Your role as a Business Development Manager is not just about closing deals; it's about making a tangible impact. We are looking for an individual with strong self-motivation and entrepreneurial spirit combined with excellent listening skills and an empathic communication style. Your innate networking abilities, coupled with excellent communication skills and a talent for setting and achieving goals, are the keys to your success.

While experience with educational institutions is advantageous, it is not mandatory.

Practical Information:

Location: based in Sweden most likely, or possibly Norway. This role combines autonomy with responsibility, allowing the flexibility to work from a home office and the opportunity to shape your own schedule.
