About the role

With headquarters in Sweden, Mycronic is a global organization with subsidiaries, agents, and distributors in over 50 countries. In this role, you will be part of the PCB Assembly Solutions division, which develops equipment and solutions for surface mounting, serving electronics manufacturers with high demands for rapid production adaptation while maintaining efficiency. The Global Technical Training Manager role is a new highly sought-after role at Mycronic, playing a critical part in our mission to drive customer success by ensuring clients and partners are fully equipped to operate and maintain Mycronic’s equipment and solutions effectively. You will be part of a team of around 10 members and report to Helena Berglund, Head of After Market.

The challenge & what you will contribute to

In this business-critical role, you will help shape Mycronic’s future offering in education and technical training. There is significant potential to strengthen this area, create value for our customers, and develop scalable learning solutions that align with both customer needs and our long-term company goals. You will be responsible for designing and executing a strategic business plan for technical training, ensuring it directly supports Mycronic’s commercial ambitions and customer success. This includes building and managing a robust global training portfolio—encompassing e-learning modules, blended learning, and instructor-led sessions—that drives product adoption, technical excellence, and innovation.

Working closely with R&D, Product Management, Sales, and Customer Support, you will ensure that training content is accurate, relevant, and impactful. As the link between these functions and our customers, you will transform technical expertise into customer value, turning complex technology into accessible, engaging learning experiences. By gathering feedback, analyzing market trends, and identifying knowledge gaps, you will continuously evolve our training offerings to reflect customer needs and emerging technologies. You will also identify and develop profitable aftermarket opportunities through training services, subscriptions, and value-added content, creating new revenue streams and strengthening Mycronic’s competitive advantage.

Work tasks

  • Analyze and understand the need, and develop high-quality technical training programs for our customers, including e-learning and blended learning solutions.
  • Collaborate with product management, engineering and customer support teams to ensure training materials are aligned with the latest product capabilities and service protocols.
  • Manage the development and deployment of e-learning modules, video tutorials, live workshops, and hands-on certification programs.
  • Support customer onboarding, adoption, and long-term satisfaction through scalable learning pathways.
  • Collect feedback from the field and use it to continuously improve training quality and relevance.
  • Monitor training metrics such as completion rates, assessment scores, certification rates, and correlate with customer satisfaction or service performance.
  • Maintain technical documentation and training content to meet industry standards and regulatory requirements where applicable.

We are looking for

On top of that, you have…

  • A Bachelor’s or Master´s degree in, for example, business administration, industrial economy, engineering or similar
  • Proven experience within technical training, education or aftermarket services where you have gained experience in translating complex technical solutions into engaging learning experiences.
  • A commercial mindset with a track record of building scalable, revenue-generating programs.
  • Proficiency with LMS platforms and e-learning creation tools (e.g., 360 learning, Sana, Synthesia, etc).
  • Strong knowledge in English, written and spoken alike

We see it as a merit if you have…

  • Experience within SMT, electronics manufacturing or industrial automation sectors
