We are now looking for an engaged and curious Software Engineer to join our team in Skellefteå and help take Pamir to the next level – our market-leading CAD desktop solution built in .NET/C#. Pamir is at the heart of MiTek’s structural engineering solutions and is used across EMEA to design roof trusses, wall frames, and other load-bearing building components that shape the buildings of tomorrow.

You’ll work hands-on in a mature, architecturally rich codebase where thoughtful design and solid engineering truly matter. Together with supportive, skilled colleagues across Sweden, the UK, France, and Germany, you’ll enhance features, improve code quality, and help shape the evolution of a flagship product used across the industry.

Join us for a role where you can combine your technical expertise with collaboration and innovation – and still have fun every day! We offer a 12‑month contract. Toward the end of the assignment, we’ll review together whether there’s a possible path toward a permanent role, based on mutual fit and business needs.

Work tasks

• Design, develop, test, and maintain software solutions using .NET/C# and related Microsoft technologies
• Contribute to analysis, system design, and code reviews while ensuring clean architecture, efficient logic, and high software quality standards
• Collaborate closely with Product Owners, QA, System Architects, and regional stakeholders to refine requirements and deliver effective solutions
• Drive continuous improvement and innovation by challenging the status quo and introducing new ideas that create value

We are looking for

What helps making you successful in this role:

• Strong C#/.NET skills, including writing performance-sensitive code 
• Ability to analyze algorithmic complexity and improve inefficient implementations
• Experience with computational geometry or geometry-heavy programming
• Hands-on profiling and optimization workflow
• Ability to build robust automated tests
• Comfortable working with complex codebases and refactoring for maintainability and performance

It is meritorious if you have

• Experience with Azure DevOps
• Experience with Git
• Have ties to / live in Skellefteå
