For the tenth time, Scania is launching its popular I-Talent Program! The I-Talent Program at Scania is an inspiring six-month journey designed for newly graduated IT students with a passion for innovation and sustainability. You’ll gain hands-on experience in a specialized IT role, access to training, and the opportunity to collaborate with teams across IT, sales, marketing, and research and development (R&D). The program not only strengthens technical skills but also develops soft skills within a supportive network – all to prepare participants to contribute to Scania’s goal: driving the shift toward a sustainable transport system. About the role

Together with several other I-talents, you will be offered a unique chance to participate in a program that will kick-start your journey at Scania. You are employed in a specific role and belong to a team but alternate the work in your role with meetings together with the other I-talents. The program starts every fall and is designed for you who are new in your career and aim to give you the best possible conditions to grow into your role. I-talent Program consists, in addition to daily work in your team, mainly of three parts – “Learning your professional role”, “Go-and-see” and “Training”. This provides very good opportunities to build a good network within Scania and in addition to your I-talents colleagues and your closest manager, you will be assigned a buddy who will be there for you the first time. Work tasks
Backend Developer – PRINS IT (INAA)
As a backend developer in INAA you will, in close collaboration with colleagues from surrounding teams, help build one system that are vital to Scania's business. Scania is now performing a digital transformation setting up a new digital landscape introducing SAP that will replace a lot of systems. To enable SAP to function with the Scania unique way of describing our products we are building an enablement layer within Production & Logistics called PRINS. PRINS will bridge the gaps between many different internal systems. PRINS will potentially also be used by other Traton brands. You will be part of a team that values continuous improvement and encourages new ideas. You will also gain hands-on experience with cloud-based solutions. The tech stack is based on technologies such as Python and AWS.

In this recruitment, we will place great emphasis on your personal qualities and your interest in both the role and Scania as a company. You should also have strong collaboration skills and take responsibility for your own learning. Formal requirements:
- Relevant post-secondary education.
- Basic experience with full-stack development using Python and AWS (coursework, internships, or hobby projects are sufficient).
- Strong collaboration skills and experience working in cross-functional teams.
- Graduation in spring 2026, or a maximum of two years of work experience when the program begins in September 2026.
- Ability to start in September 2026 and primarily work on-site in Södertälje.
- Excellent proficiency in both Swedish and English, as daily communication will occur in both languages, verbally and in writing.
Our recruitment process
