About the role
This role blends programming, simulation, and practical hands-on work within a dynamic R&D environment. You will be instrumental in developing a new platform for high tech industrial products, focusing on cutting-edge automation solutions. Join an international team of 10, including 8 automation engineers, dedicated to innovation and efficiency.

Work tasks
This role involves a dynamic mix of programming, simulation, and practical hands-on engineering to develop advanced automation solutions for a new platform.
- Responsible for handling/being a member of several software projects at the same time in accordance with time schedule and budget established by the PM.
- Carry out automation engineering which include programming according to specification (SDS, Electrical drawings, P&ID and Scope of Supply).
- Test code in simulation environments and on physical hardware in the lab.
- Participate in Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT).
- Work with bothAllen Bradley (Rockwell) and Siemens PLC systems.
We are looking for
- Master's degree in , Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Embedded Systems / Industrial Automation or equivalent.
- Prior experience as an Automation Engineer where PLC-programming has been a main task.
- Advanced knowledge of PLC programming.
- Good knowledge in Rockwell or Siemens PLC.
- Experience in Siemens S7
- Fluent in English.
It is meritorious if you have
- Experience in the LifeScience industry.
- Good knowledge of Swedish.
- Knowledge of MATLAB Simulink.
