Czech-speaking student translator to East Capital!

About the role

We are seeking a student who can work on an as-needed basis to support East Capital with financial and event-related translations. The role requires someone who is fast and flexible, as tasks can vary from written financial analysis to translating video content for our event department. You will play an important role in ensuring seamless communication between East Capital and our Czech partner.

Work tasks

Your responsibilities will include translating presentations, assisting with communication, and providing general support to ensure our events run smoothly.

• Translating financial texts, including monthly comments and articles, from Swedish and English into Czech.
• Translating financial and corporate materials from Czech to Swedish/English if the need arises in the future.
• Translating and captioning/interpreting video content and films recorded by the event department for our Czech partner.
• Assisting with the translation of presentations and general communication materials before and during events.
• Maintaining and developing a strong understanding of financial and corporate terminology across Czech, English, and Swedish.

We are looking for

• University student with at least one year left of studies, available on an as-needed basis.
• Fluent/highly proficient in Czech, English, and Swedish (both spoken and written).
• Strong understanding of, or sharp interest in learning, financial terminology across all three languages.
• Fast, proactive, and highly flexible when handling varying tasks with short notice.
• Independent, responsible, and possessing strong organizational skills.

It is meritorious if you have

• Previous experience in translating financial, economic, or corporate texts.
• Experience in video translation, subtitling, or event support.
