About the role

As a Divisional Program Lead, you will have a central and cross-functional role, acting as an important link between the parent company and its acquired subsidiaries around the world. You will work closely with the subsidiaries' management teams and operations to ensure that they understand and meet the Group's requirements, while contributing to greater structure, development, and value creation across both the subsidiaries and the Group.

The role involves a broad network of stakeholders and a wide variety of topics. You will work with several companies of different sizes, levels of maturity, and needs. In some situations, your role will be to support an established company within existing processes; in others, you will help build structures and ways of working from the ground up. You will play an important part in ensuring that our acquired companies succeed as part of the Group, while maintaining their individual identities and business focus.

This is initially a consulting assignment through Academic Work, with the possibility of permanent employment with our client.

Work tasks

  • Act as an important point of contact between the Corporate Office in Sweden and subsidiaries internationally.
  • Coordinate and follow up on reporting within areas such as Enterprise Risk Management, Internal Audit, Trade Compliance, Product Compliance, Supplier Management, Quality, Management Review, and Business Continuity.
  • Ensure that reporting, activities, and deadlines are followed up and completed in accordance with Group processes and requirements.
  • Support the subsidiaries in understanding Group requirements, processes, templates, and systems.
  • Collect, structure, and analyze information from different parts of the business to prepare reports, decision-making materials, and follow-up activities.
  • Lead workshops and discussions with, for example, business managers, production managers, and finance functions to identify risks, costs, opportunities, and actions.
  • Follow up on identified risks and ensure that clear actions, owners, and timelines are established.
  • Contribute to the integration of newly acquired companies and adapt support and ways of working to the different needs and levels of maturity of each company.
  • Act as a link between the subsidiaries and the Group's central functions, ensuring that the right questions are addressed by the right people.
  • Continuously develop and improve structures, processes, and tools for reporting and follow-up.
  • Support the subsidiaries in understanding how they should work with areas such as governance, compliance, risk management, and Group-wide ways of working as part of the Group.

We are looking for

This role is suited to someone with strong communication and relationship-building skills, who is self-driven and thrives in a role with many international stakeholders. You are comfortable working with people at different levels of an organization and are skilled at building trust, even when you need to challenge, follow up, or set expectations. You also have a strong ability to create structure – both for yourself and for others – and enjoy taking ownership in situations where not everything is clearly defined.

In addition, you have:

  • A Bachelor's or Master's degree in, for example, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering and Management, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Several years (at least 3-5) of experience in a similar role, preferably within a manufacturing company.
  • Experience working in a role with international stakeholders.
  • Willingness and ability to travel for work (approximately 15% travel).
  • Very good knowledge of Microsoft Office and Adobe products.
  • Excellent English communication skills, both written and spoken.

It is a plus if you have:

  • Knowledge of Swedish.
  • An interest in AI and how new technological tools can be used to streamline and improve ways of working.

Please note that the most important factor is not being a specialist in all areas covered by the role. What matters is your ability and curiosity to quickly understand new topics, create structure, and make things happen.
