About the role

At ImpulseRadar, we develop innovative Ground Penetrating Radar (GPR) solutions that enable people to efficiently and reliably understand and protect the subsurface world. Our advanced GPR systems are used worldwide to make the invisible visible, from infrastructure to archaeology and many other interesting applications.

We’re now looking for a curious and motivated Electronics Engineer to join our R&D team in Umeå and help us shape the future of GPR technology.

Work tasks

You’ll work hands-on with the research, development, and productization of the next-generation GPR systems. Every day, you’ll be surrounded by skilled people who value curiosity, teamwork, and problem-solving. You’ll have the chance to:

• Design, test, and refine electronic systems that bring their systems to life

Who you are

• You might be early in your career and just finishing your studies, but you have a genuine interest in how technology works and love bringing ideas to life through electronics
• You speak and understand english fluently since the team speaks both English and Swedish

You likley have

• A Degree in electronics, engineering physics (with electronics focus), or a related field
• Some hands-on project or hobby experience that shows your enthusiasm for technology

Nice to Have (but not essential)

• Signal processing and antenna design
• FPGA development (VHDL /Verilog)
• Embedded programming (C /firmware development)
