About the role
This role involves taking a new challenge in embedded software testing, ensuring products are built correctly by proving design fitness through the implementation and execution of Verification, Integration, and Test activities. You will detail and perform V&V activities, interface with design teams, and collaborate with the V&V manager on strategy and progress. In this role, you will have a key position with our client, where you will be involved in driving a brand new project. This makes the job suitable for those who enjoy taking responsibility and independently driving their work forward.

Work tasks
You will be responsible for defining verification methodologies and test plans, performing integration and testing activities, and ensuring the verifiability and traceability of requirements. A key focus will be on maximizing automation in analysis and test processes, specifying test environments, and contributing to KPI maintenance.
- Define verification methodology for selected deliverables.
- Define test plans and test descriptions.
- Perform and report allocated verification, integration, and test activities.
- Implement test descriptions in test procedures and test scripts and execute and report them.
- Ensure verifiability of requirements and traceability from tests to requirements.
- Perform and report allocated analysis activities (specification, architecture, design and test analysis, code review).
- Ensure the highest level of automation of the analysis and test activities.
We are looking for
- Master's degree in engineering or scientific topics.
- Basic knowledge of Verification, Validation, Testing, or Development of embedded systems (equivalent to at least 2 years of experience).
- Advanced knowledge of English.
- Good knowledge of Test scripting and test application using Python.
- Good knowledge of PLC programming.
- Good understanding of embedded development in C.
- Good knowledge in Linux / RTOS OS development.
- Good experience in test automation.
- Good experience in Product development.
It is meritorious if you have
- Experience in a highly complex and normative environment (railway, aerospace, defense, nuclear).
