As a Technical Field Advisor (TFA), you will hold a key position in supporting field service projects across Europe, with a specific focus on projects in Switzerland. You will work with advanced turbine technology in a role that is less about "hands-on" wrenching and more about technical leadership and direction. You will be the expert on-site, guiding teams of fitters and supervisors, ensuring quality, and managing technical reporting. This is a mobile role suited for someone who enjoys a lifestyle with extensive travel (approx. 80%), offering you the chance to work on complex sites.

Work tasks

In this role, you act as the technical authority on site. You are responsible for the smooth execution of outages and maintenance projects, serving as the bridge between the engineering teams and the field crew. Your focus will be on leading the work technically rather than executing the manual tasks yourself.

• Provide technical direction and leadership to teams of fitters and supervisors during outages and installation projects.
• Lead the resolution of Steam Turbine technical problems by interfacing with Arabelle Solutions engineering department.
• Prepare comprehensive outage reports, detailing technical findings, corrective actions, and maintenance recommendations.
• Ensure high standards of on-site safety and quality systems.
• Promote customer acceptance of our products and services to support their availability and reliability needs.
• Drive customer satisfaction through top-quality service delivery to support business growth.

We are looking for

• Professional proficiency in German, written and spoken.
• Professional proficiency in English, written and spoken.
• Good experience of field engineering practices, including troubleshooting and on-site project oversight.
• Good knowledge of turbines (gas or steam), oil and gas, thermal plants, or water plants.
• Ability to provide technical direction and project management to on-site teams.

It is meritorious if you have
