About the role
As a Product Compliance Specialist, you will be a key player in navigating complex product legislation, ensuring our client's products meet evolving global standards. This role involves close collaboration with various business units, providing essential technical expertise and strategic guidance to support compliance throughout the product lifecycle.

Work tasks
This role involves identifying and interpreting regulatory obligations, providing expert guidance, and ensuring product development aligns with compliance standards across diverse industries.
- Identify and present regulatory obligations, evaluating impact and recommending actions for decision-making.
- Support with technical compliance expertise and guidance across the organization.
- Perform analysis and review of product development project deliverables within the compliance area.
- Lead or participate in compliance projects and activities.
- Deliver product compliance training to internal stakeholders.
- Participate in external industry groups and technical committees, representing our client.
- Contribute to setting the strategy for meeting global legislation within the business unit.
We are looking for
- Engineering background (B.Sc. or M.Sc. with relevant specialization).
- Prior experience of a similar role is a big plus.
- Knowledge of Regulatory Compliance frameworks.
- Good knowledge of Project Management methodologies.
- Knowledge of Machinery Safety regulations and standards.
- Understanding of product regulations and 3rd party approvals.
- Ability to analyze details and simultaneously grasp the big picture.
- Fluent in English (verbal and written).
It is meritorious if you have
- Good knowledge of Chemical Regulations.
- Experience with Technical Documentation.
- Experience with Standardization processes and working with product standards.
- Basic knowledge of Cybersecurity relevant to product compliance.
