About the role
As a Senior Developer, you will lead the technical execution of a complex system merge. This hands-on role involves extensive coding, data migration, and coordination within a highly senior and collaborative team. Your expertise will be crucial in shaping the future of our client's core systems.

Work tasks
This role focuses on leading a significant system migration, involving complex data handling and hands-on backend development.
- Architect & implement: Lead the in-house migration of a vendor application and align it for new international country platforms.
- Data excellence: Extract, transform, and merge complex historical data from legacy systems.
- Technical focus: Use Java and Spring Boot to solve intricate backend challenges and define robust technical solutions.
- Collaborate: Engage in a high-interaction office environment, ensuring a deep collective understanding of the project scope.
We are looking for
- 8–12 years of backend development experience.
- Advanced experience: Java (preferably Java 21) and Spring Boot.
- Data & Integration: Strong proficiency in Microsoft SQL Server (MSSQL) gained from large-scale projects and Kafka.
- Proactive and consultant-minded approach, challenging the status quo constructively.
- Strong team player with excellent collaboration skills.
- Fluent English communication skills.
It is meritorious if you have
- Experience of JPA and REST APIs.
- Proficiency in CI/CD tools such as Bitbucket, Jenkins, or Artifactory.
