Train Technician

About the role

In this role, you will join a tight-knit team of six technicians focusing on field modifications and equipment upgrades. You will work hands-on with the vehicles, ensuring high-quality installations and modifications to keep the fleet modern and safe.

Work tasks

As a Train Technician, you will execute a variety of modification tasks, from camera installations to technical upgrades, helping to modernize the train fleet.

• Perform field modifications and product introductions on commuter trains.
• Install and replace onboard equipment, including cameras.
• Conduct troubleshooting and mechanical/electrical adjustments.
• Collaborate closely with a team of six skilled technicians.
• Ensure all safety and quality standards are strictly followed.

We are looking for

• Experience working as a train technician.
• Fluent in English.
• Able to pass a medical examination according to TD Drift TDOK2014:0230 or TSFS2019:112 and Kemiska Arbetsmiljörisker AFS 2023:15.
• Strong team player with good social skills.

It is meritorious if you have

• Swedish language skills.
• Specific experience working with Stockholm's commuter trains (Pendeltåg).
• Completed electrical safety training.
